Every blossom on the wall was rolled, ruffled and attached by hand — a full weekend of petals. The speckled white glaze pools to amber in the deep places, like something the sea grew and left behind.
It is the least practical thing in the shop and the hardest one to let go of. Purely decorative, entirely serious.
